At the Con

Adrian and I did this panel about our comics, and people actually came to listen. Being on that side of the table was definitely a scary and exciting experience that can only be summed up in comic panels/spot illustrations. The Riv can probably articulate his thoughts on the whole day better than I can, so keep on eye on this blog for that.
We'd like to thank all those who came and showed their support for comics they probably had never read or seen. We'll do our best to keep the books on time. With a combined 47 issues completed, we promise there are more to come.
Will lower that first word balloon...and work on the likenesses...

I'm just excited I was wearing a turtleneck that day. I know it was 106 degrees but it was worth it.

Still glad I said that to Paul.

If Steranko can do it...

I'm just glad Paul realized what he had done, what he had let get away. Maybe he'll see this post one day and have something to say about it.

Forgot to say that the first drawing had the word "fucker" in it. The second uses Paul's name. They are not one in the same (some may debate it), and I never intended to suggest that. Adrian told a couple of different stories that day, so I decided to quote him on something else from that talk. So to sum it up, neither Adrian nor I said Paul was a fucker.

I still laugh everytime I see that sketch. I'm obviously getting over something very sad. I was just crying or something and then Chris changes the subject and I perk up even though my face is still swollen from crying. That's my interpretation of the sketch version.

The real version is more my ironic attitude towards the Paul story. You can tell it's ironic because I'm wearing a turtleneck.
